jason & brit are married!

I love wedding pictures. Back before our wedding, I'd facebook-stalk anyone who had gotten married recently to get ideas from their pictures. Then I had to compare everyone else's to mine. Now I just look at them and enjoy; wedding pictures are such a testament to beautiful moments, and looking at them makes me so happy. Probably because I know how amazing the feeling is. But anyway, I say this because our family just had another wedding!

It's crazy to think about, but my LITTLE brother isn't little anymore! He's married! Jason & Britley's wedding was Saturday night, the 9th, and it was beautiful. Brit looked amazing, and they are so happy together. They were so cute during the ceremony, because they kept stealing glances at each other while the pastor was talking. Here are a couple of pictures I stole from their photographer on facebook. I can't wait until she posts the rest of them so that I can steal those, too! :)

We went to take pictures before the ceremony at a house in Byron Center that had a little covered bridge in their front yard. The rest of the yard was gorgeous, too, and they had lots of places to take pictures. I just love the expressions on their faces in the pictures above.

Here are the girls! Our dresses were a really pale yellow. They were so pretty in real life, but I think the color doesn't really translate in pictures. Bummer! Our flowers were a gorgeous mix of yellow, white, and green. I wish I had taken more pictures of all the details and the people, but I just didn't have time.  Here's a picture of some of the details that the photographer snapped:

 

I love how she got the rings! She set them on my bridesmaid dress with Brit's jewelry. So much sparkle :) And last, here's one that I took! We stopped at their house in the limo to get a shot of Jason carrying her into the house, which was super cute:

I'm sure I'll have more to post later, especially because I just love weddings so much! Tonight they plan to open presents, as they haven't left on their honeymoon yet. They're taking a cruise to Alaska, so they don't leave until Saturday; how fun!
