broken today

I feel broken today. I can't concentrate or think straight or get any work done. I wish I could let it go, but I just ache. Especially today, my hope lies in knowing that the Lord didn't create things this way. And He's aching just like I am.

I don't feel comfortable sharing details, but I just ask that you pray for the broken relationships in Eric's family. And all I can do is hold on to the promise that "neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8)
